SmartPLS License for Educational Courses
Non-Commercial On-Time Training Courses
If you're a professor or teacher conducting a non-commercial (i.e., free training) course, we may provide support with a free course license under certain conditions. These include:
- Your course is non-commercial.
- Your course is publicly announced and mention the use of SmartPLS (inlcuding our weblink: https://www.smartpls.com).
To apply for a free course license, contact us via email, providing the following details:
- Title and exact date of your course.
- A link to a website publicly announcing your course.
- If available, a list of email addresses for all course participants.
Use in University Courses
If you are using SmartPLS in university courses that are officially part of the curriculum, we expect you to purchase a SmartPLS licence for all students or to equip your computer lab with licensed SmartPLS software applications. Exception: If your university has a SmartPLS floating licence with 5 or more concurrent users, we will generate a free SmartPLS course licence all students who are enrolled in your university course.
Commercial Courses
For commercial use of SmartPLS in courses, purchasing a SmartPLS license key for all participants is required.
